How To Start Growing Marijuana At Home

I will teach you all required steps to successfully home-grow cannabis cultivation indoors.

I will start with choosing location where your plants are going to indoor grow.

Then I will give you information on what indoor grow room should look like, what size, and how to equip it.

You will learn information about most popular indoor setups, what they offer and how much they cost.

Then we will talk about different types of cannabis strains and how suitable they are for indoors.

Choose Indoors Growing Location

When choosing location for cannabis indoors growing, there are several important factors to consider:

  • Lighting: proper lighting equipment
  • Temperature and humidity: consistent temperature and humidity levels are needed for cannabis growth
  • Security: location should be secure
  • Ventilation: proper ventilation is needed to remove excess heat and humidity
  • Noise: place where you are growing should not be loud to minimize risk of disturbing weed
  • Size: location should be large enough for necessary equipment and weed
  • Accessibility: location must be accessible for maintenance and plant care
  • Law: site should be compliant with state and legal laws regarding cannabis cultivation

It’s important to consider all these factors and choose location that best meets your needs.

It’s also important to consult with advanced growers and research to ensure you are selecting right location for your weed indoors operation.

Grow Room

Grow Room

Cannabis grow rooms are larger spaces, often dedicated rooms in home or apartmant, like basement, or attic, used for growing weed on larger scale.

They also include growing areas, lighting, ventilation, and temperature and humidity control, but generally have more advanced systems and equipment.

Grow space needs to be lightproof and have good climate.

Grow Tent and Grow Boxes

Grow Tent and Grow Boxes

Grow tent is easy and cheap way to get started growing. They’re large bags with reflective lining where you can grow.

Tents are very easy to set up and give your weed sufficient light. You can also hang lamp from middle of tent.

Weed will hang over from strings or poles, so you can’t use grow tent if you want to keep an eye on your weed.

You can also place your fans inside grow tents, since air is not well-circulated inside bag.

Grow mini boxes are typically smaller and more compact than grow rooms and are designed to be easy to set up and use.

Weed in grow boxes typically requires lighting, ventilation, and temperature and humidity control.

Choosing Right Weed Strain to Grow

It’s always good to start with basic knowledge of strains’ differences and their needs.

So you can better determine wich type of cannabis seeds is right for your goals.

When choosing weed indoors strains, there are several factors to consider.

Some important things to consider are strain yield, growing difficulty, and desired effects.

In general, there are two types of cannabis seeds: Indica and Sativa.

Indica weed are short, bushy with thick leaves that grow in colder climates. Indicas are typically used for relaxation or sleep.

Sativa weed are tall and thin, so they need more light. Sativas are used for activities such as energizing or creativity.

Hybrids are cross between two different strains that have different characteristics and properties.

They have best of both worlds in terms of growing needs and effects they produce.

It is also important to consider space you have available for growing.

Some strains can grow quite tall and require lot of vertical space, while others stay short and compact.

Additionally, you’ll want to think about amount of lights and other resources you can provide, as some strains are more demanding in these areas than others.

Some of most popular strains for indoor growing include:

  • Afghan Kush
  • Bruce Banner
  • Gorilla Glue feminized seeds
  • White Widow
  • Blue Dream

Indoor Growing Guide

I always cultivate weed indoors because it’s much more controllable. You have to keep in mind that it’s not free as Guerilla growing, but you can always provide your plants with great climate and get some beautiful buds in return.

In nature, plants get all they need from soil, and because this is an open system with constant input of air and water vapor, they don’t have any problem with humidity.

It’s completly different when you’re growing in closed grow space. Your marijuana plant must be cooled and supplied with water and nutrients.

That is where climate control comes in. Growers who are growing weed indoors have to take different climate variables into account.

Indoor growers have to create perfect climate themselves by providing right amount of lights and air.

Grow Cannabis From Seeds To Harvest: Step By Step

In this guide, I will explain how to indoor grow weed step by step from start to end to get healthy, fully mature weed.

Step 1: Preparation

  1. First, select right seeds.
  2. You have to determine how much space your weed will need.
  3. Next, you have to find right lights source for your plant.
  4. Then you have to create climate for your plants: temperature, humidity, and air circulation.

Step 2: Buying Cannabis Seeds

Buying Cannabis Seeds

Buying good seeds is most important part of growing cannabis.

It’s only real difference between professionals and amateurs is quality of seeds they use. Good seeds will produce good weed plants and, ultimately, good weeds.

If you don’t have an idea yet what kind of weed you prefer, try several different kinds of strains before deciding which type you like best.

Buy as many seeds as possible at Dutch Seeds Shop, and let your preference be known by letting us know what you are growin in comments section below.

Step 3: Growing Space Size

Determine number of plants you can cultivate based on your growing space. Make sure you have enough grow space for them!

In addition to this, make sure there is sufficient space between lamp and plant for maximum effect of light.

Larger grow space, more lights you can provide to your plants.

Once you know how much lights your plants will get, you can determine how much space they need.

Plant doesn’t just grow upwards but also sideways, so it requires much grow space.

Therefore, placing your plants too close together is not good. If they grow too close, branches will break off, or leaves will touch each other. That damages plants and isn’t good for development.

Step 4: Grow Lights

Grow Lights Step

Amount of lights your plants get is very important. More grow lights, more buds.

Cultivators usually use florescent lamps (or fluorescent tubes) and MH or HPS lamps to cover all their lighting needs.

Florescent lamps are ideal for seedlings at start of growing process and for providing your plants with certain nutrients during flowering time.

Photosynthesis is process by which plant creates its food, and it depends on lights color. You can use full-spectrum lamp if you want.

From moment buds begin to develop, you’ll have to switch to MH lamps or HPS lamps, depending on what type of cannabis seeds you’re growing.

Step 5: Climate Conditions

To create climate for your plants, you need to know what plants need and what they don’t like.

If you have grow space, you can create ideal climate for your plants by setting correct temperature, humidity, and circulation.

You also have fan that will provide nice air circulation and extract CO2 from grow space.

And lamp will provide your plants with lights they need to grow and reproduce.

In nature, temperature varies between 64 and 80 degrees F. Weed plants are very hardy and can survive much colder or hot temperatures.

If it gets too cold, plant won’t flower properly and will use its energy to heat itself.

Also, production of chlorophyll will slow down considerably. In this case, you can provide your plants with heating cables for floor.

These are available at garden centers or online stores. They’re quite cheap and do great job.

We also advise you to place thermometer in your grow space so you can see what temperature it is inside.

Thermostat will automatically maintain correct temperature. You don’t want to risk burns from heat lamps by accident.

Ideal Climate Conditions For Indoor Grow

Climate inside grow space should be as similar as possible to climate outside.

This is because weed plants ‘know’ what season it is and will react to it.

For instance, they know that it’s fall when days get shorter and it starts to get colder. In this case, plant will prepare for winter by slowing down its metabolism.

It does this by ensuring it has sufficient reserves of sugars and starches, which it acheives by slowing down its growth. It also starts producing thicker leaves, so these can act as protection against cold.

As grower, you can influence environment your plants are exposed to, so you can set climate inside grow space however you want. But some rules apply in general:

Humidity

Ideal humidity range for cannabis indoors is between 40-60%.

Humidity levels that are too high can lead to mold and mildew growth, while levels that are too low can cause plants to dry out and become stressed.

It’s important to monitor humidity levels regularly and adjust as needed.

Temperature

Your plants need certain climate to grow optimally. It’s therefore important to create correct environment in your room.

Temperature

It’s best to measure temperature with thermometer placed right above leaves of plant.

Temperature is affected by factors other than just air temperature. Also, humidity and airflow play important roles.

All of these elements have to be in perfect harmony with each other.

If temperature near plant is too high, you could hang lamp higher or blow more cold air into grow space.

Ideal temperature range for plants in seedlings phases is between 70-90°F (21-32°C).

In vegetative phases, ideal veg temperature range is between 68-77°F (20-25°C).

During flowering phases, ideal flowering temp range is between 63-70°F (17-21°C).

It’s important to note that plants prefer slightly cooler temperatures at night, so temperature drop of 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit (3-6 degrees Celsius) during dark period is ideal.

It’s also important to monitor temperature levels regularly and adjust as needed.

Air Circulation

Air circulation is just as important for weed indoors as it is outdoors.

Air carries oxygen to your plants and takes away waste products. Air also plays role in drying out buds after they’ve been harvested.

Proper air circulation prevents fungi and diseases from spreading by blowing off spores of these nasty critters.

In addition, temperature can be better regulated with good air circulation.

Use fan to blow fresh air into room through vent or window that is always open with some screen on it to keep bugs out.

If you have window open to let in fresh air, make sure it’s not blowing directly onto your plants.

Besides being too cold, this also blows pollen off buds and could cause misfortunes with your flowering phase.

Best way to create nice climate in your cannabis grow room is by installing an extraction system.

Light Cycles

Schedule of light and darkness that weed receive is referred to as “lights cycle”.

Weed need minimum of 18 hours of lights each day when they are in vegetative phase.

This can be increased to 24 hours of lights per day for faster growth.

Cannabis plants need dark period of 12 hours and lights period of 12 hours while they are in blooming phase.

12/12 lights cycle causes weed to start flowering when it occurs. It’s important to create cycle of 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness.

Only during dark period plant can it recover energy it needs to grow. During lights period, plant uses all their energy for growth and photosynthesis.

To ensure ideal growth and development, it’s crucial to keep weed on regular schedule and maintain constant light cycle.

How To Properly Take Care Of Cannabis Plant Indoors

I will teach you everything you need to know about how to take care of your weed indoors in this course.

I will start by explaining how plant works and what it needs to grow, flower, and produce buds.

Then I will explain growing medium, water, and fertilizing.

Growing Medium Preparation

It’s important to prepare growing medium right before you start planting. Adequately prepared soil will provide your plants with all nutrients they need and create firm and flexible base for roots to spread in.

Soil should have organic naturally matter content of at least 5% (5 parts soil, 1 part manure, or compost). Don’t use regular garden soil because this doesn’t provide enough nutrients for cannabis seeds.

You can create perfect soil by mixing peat moss, clay pellets (hydroculture), kitchen waste (compost), and perlite. Perlite is mineral that improves air circulation in soil.

Use spade to mix all ingredients well together and ensure there are no large clumps of clay pellets or air pockets in soil. Soil has to be very fine to retain water and nutrients well.

Make sure your soil is nice and moist before your plant develops.

Watering And Fertilizing

Watering And Fertilizing

Your plants won’t survive long without water. Make sure they get enough water to keep them nice and green.

Start by watering them well when you put them in soil, so they have nice water reserve to last them while they get used to soil.

Once every couple of days, gently squeeze handful of soil and see if it is dry. If it is, give your plants nice water session up untill water comes out bottom of pot.

Ensure you don’t overwater your plants because this causes many diseases and can suffocate roots.

If your plants start to wilt and leaves become limp, give them some time without watering.

Pruning And Training

Plant will thrive upwards towards light and sideways to catch as much light as possible.

To do this, plant uses its energy reserves. Plant does this to optimize its yield.

You’re free to shape your plants however you want, but there are two things you can’t do without pruning and training.

Pruning removes parts of plants that aren’t useful for growth or production of buds.

Examples are leaves blocking light from reaching other leaves and stems that aren’t used for flowering.

Stimulate plant by removing parts to create more side branches, which will start producing buds faster.

Training is all about tying down stems. Tie stem down if it keeps growing upwards because it would use too much energy otherwise.

You can also tie down stem if you want to force it to thrive sideways instead of upwards.

Identifying and Preventing Common Problems

It’s important to identify and treat any problems on time because they can quickly get out of hand.

For example, disease can quickly infect entire plant if you don’t take care of it in time. And if your plants don’t have enough nutrients, they’ll show signs of malnutrition very quickly.

And many things can go wrong during growing phase, so it’s nice to know what most common problems are and how you can treat them.

Depending on grow room culture, some problems are more common than others.

Pests and Diseases

Pests and Diseases

Plant gets sick just like you or me. Most of time, it’s due to viruses and fungi, such as thrips and spider mites. Diseases can also be caused by lack of nutrients or too much heat.

Fortunately, plant has its defense system against pests and diseases. When plant recognizes invader, it starts to produce proteins to fight off threat.

If defense mechanism becomes too weak, plant will eventually give in to pests or diseases. You can prevent this by creating suitable climate in your grow room and by keeping close eye on your plants for any signs of trouble.

Plants can get stressed for various reasons. It can take serious hit from bugs or diseases, for example:

  • Spider mites: small, brown dots on underside of leaf
  • Fungi: yellow or white spots on leaves
  • Bacteria: brown or yellow spots on leaves
  • Aphids: small, green creatures that feed on plant sap
  • Whiteflies: little white dots on underside of leaves
  • Thrips: small black dots on leaf surface or underneath leaf
  • Leafminers: little black trails underneath leaf
  • Botrytis: grey mould that forms in cool and moist environment

Nutrient Deficiency and Toxicity

Plant common problems are too little or too many nutrients, or they don’t get enough water.

If plant doesn’t get enough water, leaves will start to curl and will turn yellow. They’ll eventually dry out and die.

If root system is healthy and plant gets sufficient water, roots will stay nice and white. If roots are turning brown, this is sign of overwatering.

Possible causes for nutrient deficiencies or toxicity are fertilizers with wrong pH value or too rich feed.

Brown tips on bottom leaves usually indicate nitrogen deficiency, while leaves start turning yellow at top of plant when it needs phosphor.

Wilted leaves indicate that entire plant is suffering from stress.

How to Make Your Own Indoor Cannabis Set Up

In this chapter, I will explain everything you need to know about growing indoors.

I will show you what equipment you need and how to install your grow room.

You can also buy complete setup, but this will cost you quite some money.

That is also way more fun; you can create your unique setup and adjust everything to your needs.

What Equipment Will You Need For Building Grow Room

To make nice grow room, you will need following equipment:

  • Grow tent or box
  • Lighting system (LED, HPS)
  • Ventilation system (exhaust fan, carbon filter)
  • Climate control equipment (air conditioner, dehumidifier)
  • Growing medium (soil, hydroponics)
  • Pots or containers
  • Nutrients and fertilizers
  • Watering system (drip irrigation, ebb and flow)
  • pH and nutrient testers
  • Pest control and disease prevention products
What Equipment Will You Need For Building Grow Room

It’s also recommended to have power strip, timers, thermometer, and hygrometer for temp and humidity monitoring.

It’s essential to have good understanding of environmental needs of cannabis plants and equipment required to meet those needs before setting up grow room.

Grow Lights

Grow Lights

You’ll need some lamps to get sufficient light for nice buds.

This can be regular light bulbs or powerful MH or HPS lights.

I always use HPS lights. These are very powerful and give your plants strong growth and flowering period.

They also require lot of electricity, so you’ll have to install power generator.

I prefer to use MH lights during cloudy days or when flowering starts, as these provide more colors for plant needs.

Ventilation System

You will have to install suitable extraction system to get rid of hot air that’s produced by lights and to bring fresh air in.

In addition, you should install circulation system because temp has to be even.

If you don’t install an extraction system, your grow space will quickly become too smelly and eventually stink out entire house.

I recommend installing carbon filter for extraction system.

Fans don’t have to be specially made for growing cannabis seeds. Still, models specifically made for grow rooms are very nice because they have low sound levels and can be connected directly to climate control units.

Pots or Containers

Pots or Containers

Plant needs space to grow and room to develop roots. Best is to use standard ten or 20-inch square pots.

If you’re growing more than couple of plants, it’s good idea to use larger pots.

I usually start with small three or 4-inch ones and upgrade to 8-inch ones once plants become more significant.

It’s best to use clay pots because they retain water longer.

You can also use plastic containers; if you don’t have any clay pots, you can put plants in plastic and add some soil.

Fiber pots are also nice to work with because they retain water well and are light.

Nutrients

In nature, plants get everything they need from soil. This includes nutrients such as nitrogen, potassium, calcium, and magnesium.

Also, important elements such as iron, copper, and manganese are present in soil.

Weed indoors get their nutrients from water and fertilizers you give them.

It’s, therefore, very important to feed your plants properly to ensure they can develop properly.

You can buy made soil, or you can make your own.

Cannabis plants have different nutrient needs at different stages of growth.

During seedling stages (1 week and 2 weeks old), plant’s main nutrient needs are water and light.

As plant develops and begins to produce leaves (3 weeks and 4 weeks old), it will also need balanced supply of primary nutrients, including nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), as well as secondary nutrients, such as calcium, magnesium, and sulfur.

During vegetative stages (5 weeks, 6 weeks, and 7 weeks old), plants will continue to need balanced supply of primary and secondary nutrients and trace elements such as iron, zinc, and manganese. As plant becomes taller and begins to develop buds, it will also need more potassium and phosphorus to support development of flowers.

During flowering stages (8 weeks and older), plants will need higher ratio of phosphorus to nitrogen to promote development of buds and flowers. It will also need more potassium to support growth of buds. Additional micronutrients such as boron, copper, and molybdenum are also important during this stage.

It’s important to note that different growing methods (soil, hydroponic) have different nutrient needs, and specific requirements will depend on strain, so it’s good idea to consult specific strain guide or specialist if you have questions. You should, therefore, only use fertilizers specially developed for weed plants.

Cannabis Week By Week Grow

Cannabis Week By Week Grow

I will show you how to plant and care for your plants through an entire life cycle: from germinating seeds to harvesting plants.

It’s always exciting to see how little seedlings, week by week, will eventually become full mature weed.

In this course, I will explain your plants’ needs and how they behave during each life phase.

Cannabis plants have several life stages, including seedling, vegetative, and flowering.

  • 1 Month old: Seedling stage, where plant is just starting to sprout and develop its first set of leaves.
  • 2 Months Old: Vegetative stage, where plant is actively producing and developing leaves, stems, and roots.
  • 3 Months Old: Vegetative stage, where plant is continuing to mature and develop.
  • 4 Months Old: Flowering stage, where plants produce buds and flowers.

It is important to note that exact timing of these stages can vary depending on strain of cannabis, growing conditions, and other factors.

Germination

Process of germinating weed seeds is first step in weed production, and it involves providing seeds with right combination of warmth, moisture, and light to sprout.

Seeds are dormant and have to be awakened to start developing. They’re surrounded by protective shell called seed coat.

This has to be cracked open so plant can take in water and nutrients. That is done by letting seeds soak for 24 hours in lukewarm water.

Once they’ve been soaked, seeds will germinate, and roots will come out of seed. You can also sprout seeds with paper towel method.

Place them between couple of sheets of paper towels or newspaper and ensure they’re not touching each other. Place them in dark, warm and moist place.

Seeds will start germinating after 24h. Once root sticks out through seed, it’s time to transplant them into pots.

Seedling Stage

Young Seedlings will emerge from soil after couple of days. They’ll have two little leaves that are folded inwards.

Baby leaves will be very light green and will measure about 1 inch. You should see first little seedlings stick their tiny heads out end of week or 10 day.

These are conditions cannabis requires when it is in seedling stage:

  • Light: Ambient light
  • Temperature: 68-77°F (20-25°C)
  • Humidity: 70-80%
  • Fertilizer: No fertilizing yet because plants can’t absorb nutrients yet.
  • pH: 6.0 (neutral)

Seedlings need light to develop properly but can’t take full blast of MH yet.

You could hang 400 watt HPS lamp at distance of about 18 inches underneath your tent to provide right temperature.

Vegetative Stage

Plants will stay in vegetative stages until they’re big enough to flower. Plants will develop little during this time, but they will get bigger and produce lots of leaves.

First two weeks of vegetative stage are most important. Plant will form its roots, which will later come in handy during flowering phase.

Light cycle is 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness. MH and HPS lights are ideal for this phase.

In first two weeks, you’ll have to force plant to develop by giving it maximum light, water, and nutrients.

You can do this by placing lamp right above plant and rotating it when it’s too close to bulb.

During this period, you also want to force plants to develop many side shoots so they will become bushy and not grow as tall.

To do this, you have to give it more light. Place second lamp next to first one, or move lamp closer to plants. As long as they don’t burn, they’ll keep developing.

These are conditions cannabis requires when it is in vegetative stage:

  • Light cycle of 18 hours of light – 6 hours of darkness
  • Temperature: 68-77°F (20-25°C)
  • Humidity: 40-60%
  • Fertilizer: balanced diet of macronutrients, such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, as well as micronutrients, such as iron, zinc, and magnesium.
  • pH: between 6.0 and 7.0

Flowering Stage

Flowering Stage

Once your plants get to desired size, it’s time to flower them. This is done by changing light cycle to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness.

Light cycle can be changed by simply placing lamp closer to plant or moving it further away. Flowering time lasts around 3-4 months. These are conditions cannabis requires when it is in flowering time:

  • Light cycle of 12 hours of light – 12 hours of darkness
  • Temperature: between 68-77°F (20-25°C)
  • Humidity: 40-50%
  • Fertilizer: high quality fertilizer with high nitrogen content during flowering phase.
  • pH: between 6.0 and 7.0

Harvest Stage

Marijuana plants typically take 4 months to mature and be prepared for harvest.

However, exact time will depend on specific strain of cannabis and conditions.

Some strains may be prepared to harvest after as little as 12 weeks, while others may take up to 6 months.

It’s essential to pay attention to trichomes, which are tiny crystals on buds and leaves when determining when to harvest.

When most trichomes are cloudy or amber in color, plant is likely ready for harvest.

Storage Buds

Storage Buds

Storing your buds properly is very important. Cannabis doesn’t age in same way as wine or cheese. Best way to store your weed is in dark at room temperature. Make sure it’s well closed, so bugs don’t get into it. Buds are at their best right after harvest, but they do keep their qualities for couple of weeks.

How Long Can Marijuana Plants Live

How long can marijuana plants live? That depends on variety you culivate and how well you care for it. Indica varieties tend to live shorter than their sativa counterparts.

Both will develop between 2 and 4 meters tall, but indica varieties are more compact plants. Sativas have larger leaves and need more light, which means that they’ll use more energy and can grow taller.

Most strains live between 10 and 12 weeks from seeding to harvest, but this can vary depending on lighting hours, room size, and available nutrients.

How Much Can Indoor Grown Cannabis Yield

As mentioned before, indoor cultivating uses more artificial light. This leads to faster growth of plants.

However, if well executed, yield of indoor cannabis can be more than double of outdoor weed.

Growing cannabis indoors yield can vary greatly depending on factors such as strain, cultivating conditions, and skill of grower.

Indoor growers can expect to produce between 1 ounce to 2 ounce of usable cannabis per plant, but some experienced growers were able to achieve yields of 3 ounce per plant.

Harvesting Weed Buds And Processing Them

After flowering period of about 12 to 15 weeks, buds will be mature to harvest. You’ll know whether your buds are mature for harvest if you check pistils.

Number of pistils per bud indicates quality of your cannabis: more pistils, better weed.

It would be best if you only harvested those completely ripe buds because otherwise, resin production is stopped, and plant uses its energy elsewhere.

If you want to produce weed with high THC content, you shouldn’t harvest too early. In general, more resin = higher THC content.

Drying And Curing

Drying And Curing

Once your buds are cut from stalks, they must be dried and stored correctly. If you don’t dry them correctly, they won’t keep, or their quality will decrease.

There are different ways to dry your buds: hanging them upside down in drying area, drying them in vacuum, or using heating lamps.

It’s up to you to determine what type of drying you want. You can get good results with all methods.

I always hang my buds upside down in area where I grow. I hang them over string with clothespins and place lamp above that is turned on during day and off during night.

Best Exotic Cannabis Strains For Indoor Cultivation

Best Exotic Cannabis Strains For Indoor Cultivation

For beginner dummies growers and other growers, we advise you to look at our wide range of marijuana seeds we offer at DSS.

We offer you 280 different types of cannabis strains and many exotic strains that will leave your mouth watering. Since most people want to cultivate their marijuana, they usually buy what is popular on market.

If you are asking ‘what is best for indoor grow?’, start with some of our Indica and Sativa strains.

Indica Cannabis Seeds

Indica cannabis seeds are well suited for people who want to indoor grow marijuana. They grow short, sturdy plants that yield richly and provide mellow highs.

Here are some of best Indica strains for growing cannabis indoors we offer at Dutch Seeds Shop:

Afghan Kush

Afghan Kush is Indica dominant strain that has been around since 1970. It’s bred from landrace strains originating in Afghan Kush region.

Afghan Kush is an easy-to-grow plant that can handle various conditions thanks to its balanced genetics. It’s good choice for indoor growers and those who prefer their plants not to be too large.

Flavour and aroma of Afghan Kush are as unique as its genetics. You get hit with earthy and fresh coffee tones upon inhaling this smoke.

These flavours then shift into exotic spice tones that finish with hints of citrus fruits on your palate. Effects of Afghan Kush are mainly cerebral but with relaxing undertone.

This makes it ideal for daytime use when you need some extra pep but don’t want your mind racing or any racing thoughts or feelings of anxiety taking over your day or evening.

Afghan Kush will leave you feeling happy and uplifted while also relaxing tension in your body and mind so you can stay focused on whatever task you have without feeling sluggish or weighed down by heavy sensations throughout your body or mind.

With its moderate level of THC at around 20%, Afghan Kush isn’t an extremely potent strain. However, it still hits hard enough, so always start with small amounts to test your tolerance levels before moving to higher doses if needed or desired.

Blueberry Autoflower

Blueberry is another strain that has been around for while and is one of most popular auto strains on market today.

Blueberry Auto is cross of Blueberry with ruderalis strain.

This plant is great for beginner growers, as it will automatically flower without any photoperiod change.

Blueberry Auto has fruity smell and taste, full of berries and sweet tones.

This plant thrives around 1.2 meters high with widespread and expected yields starting at 500gm/plant indoors!

Blueberry is also fast flowering plant, so that you can get your first harvest in just under 10 weeks!

It thrives best indoors but can be grown outdoors in northern hemisphere during summer months.

Sativa Cannabis Plants

Sativa cannabis plants are very different from Indica. They’re taller, slimmer, and have lighter colored buds with more orange-red hue.

Their leaves are also noticeably larger, thinner, and more rounded. As well as looking beautiful, they’re also highly beneficial during flowering.

They require lot of lights to develop properly and will stretch out as much as possible to capture maximum amount of lights available.

Here are some best Sativa strains you can find at DSS:

Amnezia Haze

This strain is Sativa dominant and has won multiple prizes for its taste and effect.

Amnesia Haze can be between 80 and 130 centimeters tall, depending on how well you manage to control plant’s lighting schedule.

Amnesia Haze offers THC content of around 16% and has very high levels of CBD, especially when CBD plants are grown indoors.

Amnesia is great strain for beginner growers as it’s very easy to cultivate and needs little attention.

This strain provides a high that can be felt throughout entire body, and it’s often described as feeling like floating into air.

You’ll feel somewhat uplifted by Amnesia Haze Auto weed, but at same time, you’ll want to relax and enjoy high.

You’ll find this is excellent strain for daytime use.

White LSD

White LSD is mostly Sativa and crosses of White Widow and Super Skunk. This is one of best indoor cannabis strains.

This strain height is around 70cm and has beautiful trichomes – snow-white buds that fill your grow space with an incredible aroma.

This strain has hybrid high, with both indica and sativa effects – something many growers prefer nowadays.

It’s an excellent strain for beginner growers, as it can be cultivated in small spaces and produces large yields in just 12 weeks.

Cultivating cannabis without license is illegal. Cannabis indoors growth isn’t for everyone.

It requires some experience as growers, some time, and some space. But above all, it requires legal permission.

So make sure to check information about your local laws regarding cannabis before starting growth.

Growers Licence and Medical Card

If you have medical condition, you may be eligible for medical card in your states.

Medical cards will allow you to cultivate or possess more cannabis than non-cardholders.

Medical cards can also be used as proof when questioned by police regarding your grow or possession of cannabis.

In 2020, Florida voted in favor of medical weed but only permit it for patients suffering from terminal illnesses.

This legislation allows patients to possess and use medical cannabis, but it doesn’t allow them to grow their own plants.

In US, you can get your license for medical cannabis production in some states. For instance, you can get your license through Oregon Medical Marijuana Act (OMMA).
